ARose Policy

Personal Viewpoint: At ARose Coaching, all services are offered through live one-on-one Zoom calls. The viewpoint of all coaching, will be from a Catholic perspective and will be in agreement with the teachings of the Magisterium of the Catholic Church. However, people of different beliefs or religious denominations are welcome to reach out for the free intake session to see if we are good fit as well as Catholics.

All services are offered by Angela Winkeler who has a Certification in Life Coaching from IAP Career College and over 10 years of experience in coaching, mentoring and child care. Main focuses at ARose Coaching are on areas of anxiety, depression, parenting struggles, navigating difficult relationships, struggles with self-worth and overcoming self-harm (though a licensed counselor is required in cases of extreme addiction or suicidal thoughts.) Other areas of coaching and mentoring may be offered depending on the needs of the Client.

Coaching versus Counseling: Coaching is not licensed counseling, and as a coach, I am not authorized to diagnose or treat severe mental conditions or to dive deeply into the therapeutic work done by counselors. Coaching is a professional relationship between the Coach and the Client that involves listening, offering feedback, suggestions and guidance based on former experience and training on the Coach’s part. This is not a relationship based on friendship or romantic relations but rather it is a professional relationship with the Coach as the leader.

Treatment: The Client will be held responsible for their own choices and their mental/emotional needs and their choices will always be a result of their own free will. The Coach will suggest, encourage and offer input and guidance to the Client but will never force the Client to do anything against their will. As such, the Client is in agreement that the Coach will not be held liable or responsible for any actions or inactions or for any result, direct or indirect that is a result of the services provided by ARose Coaching. These coaching services are not designed to be a replacement for therapy or a treatment or prevention for mental or medical conditions. If the Client is receiving care from someone in the medical or counseling field, it is recommended that their therapist or doctor be informed about the nature and extent of the coaching/client relationship.

Payment: All payment transactions will be through PayPal. Invoices will be sent out through email. Clients are encouraged to sign up for regular weekly sessions as that will show more progress and attainment of goals than if sessions are inconsistent and infrequent. The monthly package is the best price and will likely see the most results.

Monthly package: $260 for a total of 4 or 5 sessions each month, depending on the amount of weeks in that month. ($65 per 50 minute session.) Payment is due on the 1st of each month. (Best value.)

Weekly: ($70 per 50 minute session) Payment is due 48 hours before each session.

Cancelation Policy: Payment is non-refundable, however if a Client needs to cancel a session and does so more than 24 hours in advance, then a rescheduled session is offered. Sessions canceled less than 24 hours in advance will not receive a rescheduled session (except in the case where sickness or an emergency impedes the ability to attend the session. In this case, give notice within an hour of the scheduled time and a rescheduled session will be offered.)

Commitment: In order for the coaching to be effective, the Client understands that effort and complete honesty will be needed between Client and Coach. The Client will need to put in the work and time to follow the advice and guidance of the Coach in order for results to be seen. As always, however, if the Coach proposes something at any time that the Client is not comfortable with, it is their own free will to choose to not follow the advice. If they choose to not follow the guidance, however, it is with knowing, that the results that the Coach has proposed as possible, will likely not happen if the Client does not choose to follow the advice.

Coaching can take some time to show results. This is not a quick fix and the client will need to have patience with the process. Depending on the amount of upheaval or struggles in the Client’s life, they may need several months or several years of coaching to reach their desired goals. ARose Coaching is in it for the long haul, if the Client and Coach is found to be a good fit.

Respect and Mutual Trust: The Client understands that respectful and appropriate treatment is expected between Client and Coach in order for the professional relationship to continue. Language or treatment that is abusive or disrespectful in any way will not be allowed. Termination of sessions can be determined by the Coach if the professional relationship is proving to be unhealthy or not a good fit. Any issues that may arise, will be discussed with the Client first. Termination is a last resort if problems cannot be resolved or if any part of this agreement is broken.

Confidentiality: Everything that is shared in sessions will be kept confidential except if the client is at risk of seriously harming themselves or another person. At ARose Coaching, privacy is held very seriously. This is a safe place to be heard and to receive compassion and to have someone walk with you on your journey. You are not alone. You are seen and heard and your life matters.
